Research Interests

​Dr. Asima is a molecular biologist and her interest in human health has driven her to study the complex relationship between disease development and the role of genomics and transcriptomics. She is involved in single-cell transcriptomics, and genomics, microfluidics, cell culture experiments, RNAseq, and ATACseq. The purpose of research in our lab is to understand the complex interaction of cellular systems and their impact on development and diseases.
